The secret of Success is…
One week before my first September exam. First, last and only one? I dont know. I should take more exams, but i just dont feel prepared. Didnt study enough. I guess this is a normal feeling and a lot of people say it just to justify themselves in case they fail.
There are people that even if they’ve studied and know the subject good enough, they would still tell you “I dont know enough”. They are unsure of themselves. These kind of people also say “I dont know if i’ll pass it” after each exam, even if they answered all the questions right and they knew, they still say “I dont know if I did enough”. At the end, they all usually pass.
I am a person who used to say that. Before and after an exam, i would say “I didnt study enough” and “I dont know if I answered correctly”, and I would normally pass the exam. Now, i’m more aware of what i know and what i dont. I say “I THINK I past the exam” if i’m 50% sure, “I know i’ve past the exam” if i’m 90% sure or “I know i failed it” if i dont think i answered enough. Still, i know when i do things right and wrong. I am confident and sure when i come out of an exam if i’ve past it and wont have to worry about the subject or if I have failed it and I wont have to worry about the grade.
I know the odds, i know my chances and I know my limitations. I know I can do better a lot of times, and I know that i dont because i’m not motivated enough. Timing is very important. It’s as important as motivation. How good is motivation if the timing is not right?
I’ve been studying for a long time now, and i’m sure of this: Anyone can study almost any subject and pass an exam (i’m not saying KNOW the subject, but know enough to PASS) within a week with the right motivation and timing. These two elements dont usually go together, and that’s why its better to study everyday (in the hope the motivation will appear sooner or later). But again, this is just THEORY. Cos studying every day is quite hard and needs a lot a lot of motivation (I know, cos i did it for a year).
Showtime
Yes.I admit it.I like to show off
.I find it funny.
I dont walk around showing off all the time, but from time to time…you know…i like to be watched. I dont have problems with it. The time when i was embarrased when people looked at me is long gone.
Dont get me wrong. I do still get embarrased when i’m doing something wrong and people watch me doing it. Not as much as before, because i want to think i take things less seriously now, and now i even laugh when i find myself doing something wrong-funny.
I dress up just like any other person and act just as any other one. When i say i like to show off i mean not with the looks, but with the situation. For example: walking in the street, dancing or sitting in a cafe talking with 2 or 3 gorgeous women. I find it very funny.
I can feel the looks of the people around saying”what does that guy have?”,”lucky”,”he must have a lot of money”,”he must be good in bed”…Its so funny watching their faces, and know none of them think “well, its just a guy with three female friends that happen to be good looking”, which is most of the times the simplest and more accurate answer.
Does this happen to you too? What situations do you find funny?
Post-Holiday Sindrome
I dont know what i’m going through these days, but i’m just not in the mood to study. I have many reasons to start right away, and i conciously know the sooner i start, the better, but i’m just vegetating.
I find myself totally unmotivated to start anything. I’ve past the last 72 hours in front of internet,tv,books and sleeping. The only thing that got me out of these “activities” was cooking japanese food. Maybe i should start with that.
How can i blend studying into cooking? Any ideas? Please Help!!
Japanese food and Girls
I just figured out a way to pick up girls. The setup is to invite them home for a typical japanese dinner. It’s different and they are willing to try it.
Well, this is the idea. I have to put it in practice now.
To start with, the first “victim” was an old friend of mine. Olivia. She seemed pretty happy (enjoying the food and company i guess).
I’ll have to work both on the cooking (still, it doesnt taste so good to me as it should) and the “strategy” on how to get them come to my place and eat from the palm of my hand.

Miguel.27.Love2Travel.1/2 Japanese,1/2 Spanish
Hello everyone.
Before i start anything, i want to introduce myself briefly in one line:
Miguel.27.Student.EasyGoing,Openminded.Love2Travel.Half Japanese,Half Spanish.
I just finished reading “The Alquimist” of Paolo Cohelo, talks about omens, and how they are important. We have to be ready to see them and interpret them when they appear in our regular life.I agree.
This is one of the main reasons why i decided to sign up in WordPress.com. I have never heard of it before yesterday.Really, no clue whatsoever about this place. The thing is, i went to an job interview yesterday in Madrid, and this site came up in the conversation. Its nice, so and so, bla bla bla.Ok. I didnt really paid much attention to it until i read an email from a girl i met this summer. She told me about WordPress.com.Again!.Twice in less than 24h must mean something.2 completly different people telling me to take a look at this site.
I already had a blog going on in one of MSN spaces, and i was fine with it, really (appart for some days,of course). Anyways, i think i’ll give it a try and start (or should i say keep on) with my blog here.
The posts you will be reading here are about my life.Diverse.Not just “i went to the beach, i walked the dog at 3 a.m….”, but also about things that happen in my daylife that make me think about facts of life. Well, things that for one thing or another, just keep on running in my mind for a while.
I found out not so long ago, that writing a blog makes me realise what i really think about things. This helps me a lot to sort out my ideas, goals, feelings and troubles. I find quite relaxing to write about different stuff when i feel like. This means, i just write whenever i have something to say, not as a day basis.
I enjoy very much asking people about their opinion ‘cos i find it helpful to know what other people think about certain issues. Helps me get another point of view, see another standpoint and make myself a better and much more complete idea of what is really going on. Not just my viewpoint.
So, i hope you read my blog and enjoy reading it as much as i enjoy writing it. All Suggestions will be read, listened to and highly appreciated.
